Meet Our Founders
Anqunette “Q” Sarfoh is the co-founder of Quietude by Qulture, and the founder of Qulture, a line of CBD and THC infused products for people, available online and at select retail outlets. She is the former Executive Director of the Michigan chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) and former board member of the Michigan Cannabis Industry Association (MICIA). Anqunette also founded BOTANIQ, a cannabis dispensary that was sold in 2020. Prior to her involvement in cannabis, Anqunette spent 20 years as a TV journalist and news anchor in Indiana, Las Vegas, Boston, and Detroit. After 8 years as the morning anchor for Fox 2 Detroit, Anqunette retired due to the effects of Multiple Sclerosis and joined efforts to legalize cannabis in Michigan. Through changes in diet and using CBD, Anqunette went from taking nine medications a day to taking none and became a caregiver to teach others how to lessen their dependency on pharmaceuticals. Anqunette also studied nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and often speaks to community and support groups about the safe and appropriate use of plants and herbs to help people nourish and heal their bodies. Anqunette rides horses to manage MS symptoms. She and her Quarab horse, Dash, like to compete in endurance races and are slowly working up to eventing.
